The state attorney general has charged three Franciscan friars with conspiracy and child endangerment for their alleged roles in allowing a fellow friar to molest more than 80 children at a Catholic high school in Johnstown.
Attorney General Kathleen Kane announced the charges against Giles A. Schinelli, Robert J. D’Aversa and Anthony M. Criscitelli, all of whom are friars in the Franciscan Order of the Catholic Church, with one count each of child endangerment and criminal conspiracy.
