A federal judge has thrown out a noncompete case against an Indian technology company that allegedly improperly hired away contractors when it took over a software installation project for Time Warner Cable.

When Time Warner decided to move its contract for the installation of client relationship management tool Salesforce from Pennsylvania-based Acclaim Systems to Infosys Ltd. in India, four of Acclaim’s subcontractors joined Infosys as well. Less than a month later, Acclaim sued Infosys alleging tortious interference with contractual relations, aiding and abetting breach of contract and civil conspiracy, among other claims.
