The state Supreme Court has agreed that a chief of staff to former House Majority Leader John Perzel should be disbarred for his role in the so-called “Computergate” scandal.
In a 12-page opinion, Justice David Wecht rejected Brian Preski’s plea for a suspension rather than disbarment for his role in a scheme to misappropriate millions of dollars in taxpayer resources to develop computer software for partisan political campaigns.
