A Philadelphia judge has sent the majority of a former partner’s claims against Blank Rome to arbitration, closing the blinds on a suit both sides sought to handle privately, albeit at different times.

Blank Rome had argued former ­intellectual property partner Alfred Zaher attempted an end-run of the partnership’s mandatory arbitration provision by including a claim for equitable injunctive relief, the one thing the agreement allows to be aired in open court.
