Clients’ willingness to experiment outside of their typical roster of law firms has led to more legal work spreading from large cities to less-expensive counties.
While firms in cities outside of Philadelphia or Pittsburgh have always offered lower overhead and reduced rates, the frequency with which clients are availing themselves of that structure has increased, lawyers and general counsel have said.
