Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s motion to quash charges against her based on selective prosecution revealed a selective memory, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office said Monday in a reply brief.
Kane’s “frivolous” motion exhibited a lack of research and a “puzzling” inability to recall a relevant case with ties to both Kane and one of her defense attorneys, the state’s response said. In her effort to detail the selective and vindictive prosecution she claimed brought her to this point, Kane instead wrote “yet another chapter in her wearied feud with individuals not employed by the Montgomery County or Bucks County district attorney’s offices,” the response said.
