Saul Ewing has established a new practice group in cybersecurity and privacy, and has brought on a partner who formerly worked with the National Security Agency to lead the practice.

The firm announced Tuesday that it hired April F. Doss to lead its cybersecurity and privacy practice. Her first day was May 2. Before joining the firm, Doss was the associate general counsel for ­intelligence law at the NSA, where she worked for more than 12 years.
