As the number of lawsuits being filed in Philadelphia over the diabetes drug Invokana continues to grow, Janssen Pharmaceuticals has begun looking to send the cases elsewhere.
The drugmaker filed a forum non conveniens motion Thursday seeking to have the case Jeffries v. Janssen Pharmaceuticals transferred from the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas to Tennessee, which is the plaintiff’s former home state.
