The former head of a Philadelphia law firm has anonymously sued the firm’s disability benefits provider for failing to pay for career-ending neurological injuries the partner suffered from taking antibiotics.
In the case of Doe v. MetLife, an attorney—under the pseudonym “John Doe”—has sued MetLife for denying him disability benefits after questioning whether his current status as totally disabled is permanent, according to the complaint filed May 11.
