A former Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel associate has sued the firm based on allegations it had a system of reallocating rates to the benefit of partners, thereby reducing associates’ chances at obtaining bonuses.

Ryan Leonard alleged the rates Obermayer Rebmann associates billed out to clients were reduced internally while some partner rates were increased internally, making partners look more profitable, a key factor in obtaining bonuses.
