Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel wants a former associate’s lawsuit against the firm over allegedly bilking him out of bonuses to be sent to arbitration.

In its first response to former ­associate Ryan Leonard’s suit, the firm said Leonard’s claims, even if true, would only amount to $2,500 in damages. The firm said Leonard’s damages could not meet the $50,000 threshold for cases to be heard in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
