The U.S. Supreme Court ruling on Monday that struck down abortion clinic restrictions in Texas has spurred advocates to bring Pennsylvania and other states in compliance with the decision.
Alabama’s attorney general said he would dismiss an appeal of a district court ruling that found a similar law in his state unconstitutional. The high court on Tuesday declined to take up appeals from Mississippi and Wisconsin over invalidated requirements that abortion clinic physicians have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital.
