While Pennsylvania’s largest law firms maintained a steady head count overall in 2015, a number of firms experienced noticeable gains and decreases due to mergers, strings of departures or group moves, according to data reported by Legal affiliate The National Law Journal.
The NLJ 500, a ranking of the country’s 500 largest law firms by head count, provided an expanded view of Pennsylvania firms. Thirty-nine law firms from the national list are based in Pennsylvania, although four of those Pennsylvania firms have their largest law offices located outside the state.
