The fight over how two former GlaxoSmithKline scientists accused of stealing trade secrets and their alleged co-conspirators can view sensitive evidence continues to escalate, this time with prosecutors shooting down a defense proposal to monitor their clients with in-home cameras.

Federal prosecutors fear that evidence in the defendants’ possession may be stolen and negotiations between the government and the defendants have dragged on for months through letters to the presiding judge that offer proposals and counter-proposals.
