Greg Jackson was going through routine paperwork when he uncovered the crime.
The Pennsylvania lawyer had been asked by the incoming president of his county bar association to compile a list of its members, and he was dutifully obliging, ordering the county’s two-dozen lawyers by admission date. It was the week before Christmas, in 2014, and he was thinking ahead to a trip with his daughter to see the seasonal sights in New York City.
