A western Pennsylvania bankruptcy firm that changed hands in the midst of a now-suspended principal’s disciplinary troubles has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
McElrath Legal Holdings, also known as the Law Offices of Paul McElrath, was supposed to file all the documents necessary for its petition by Monday, but instead filed a motion seeking 20 more days to complete its petition. It originally filed for bankruptcy July 11. Paul McElrath is listed as president of the entity and sole equity owner.
