Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel has lost its bid to arbitrate a lawsuit filed against the firm by a former associate who alleged its billing rate allocation denied associates their fair share of bonuses.

In a one-paragraph order docketed Tuesday, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge John M. Younge denied Obermayer Rebmann’s motion to compel arbitration in the suit Leonard v. Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel.
