As the long-awaited criminal trial of Pennsylvania’s chief law enforcement officer is set to begin Monday, criminal defense attorneys said they expect a complicated jury selection process and heated arguments over the admissibility of evidence related to Pennsylvania’s porn email scandal.

Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s criminal trial is set to begin with voir dire Monday in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. She faces charges related to allegations that she leaked confidential grand jury information, then lied about it before a grand jury. Kane is charged with perjury, a third-degree felony with a seven-year maximum sentence, as well as false swearing and obstruction of the administration of law, both second-degree misdemeanors with two-year maximums.
