The Criminal Justice Center has reopened several days after an elevator malfunctioned, sending two people to the hospital and leading the building to be evacuated.
According to a statement from the First Judicial District, the center was reopened Monday after the building received a safety certification by state inspectors, and court officials consulted with city officials and elevator experts hired by the city.
