The Senate Labor and Industry Committee has scheduled a hearing for today in Harrisburg that will focus on legislation (SB 1306) that would prohibit workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.

Chair of the committee, Lisa Baker, R-Luzerne, said the point of the hearing “wasn’t to cover philosophical differences on the issue. Those are well known.”
