Kraft Heinz Foods Co. has alleged one of its distributors bilked it out of more than $1 million by fraudulently claiming rebates for ketchup packets and other products that were never actually sold.

A complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania on Aug. 25 brought claims for breach of contract, fraud and unjust enrichment against Passaic, New Jersey-based distributor Acme Food Products Co.—not to be confused with the East Whiteland Township-based supermarket chain Acme Markets Inc.
