Calling Philadelphia Municipal Court Judge Joseph O’Neill’s actions “sickening,” a federal judge on Wednesday sentenced O’Neill to four years’ probation for lying to federal authorities investigating case-fixing.

O’Neill was emotional throughout the day’s sentencing proceedings, wiping tears away with his tie as his son, Jamie O’Neill, testified about the debilitating anxiety the case caused his father, who pleaded guilty in May to two counts of lying to the FBI.
