What are some of the most significant legal history dates in Pennsylvania?
As often said in earlier columns, knowledge of legal history is a very important part of being a well-rounded and excellent lawyer. Law as a profession is more than just understanding a particular area of law or being a good trial lawyer. Being a lawyer requires dedication to the profession beyond one’s individual business needs. It also requires lawyers to have a sense of history to know where the profession came from and where the profession is heading.
