The expansive changes to Pennsylvania’s liquor code signed by Gov. Tom Wolf in June gave beer distributors nothing but more competition.
“We have 14,000 outlets that can now compete with us to sell beer,” said Steve Blaise, owner of D&I Beverages in Delaware County. “A lot of them are owned by big national companies. By law, beer distributor owners can’t own more than one store.”
