The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) is operating under the double affliction of large annual payments to PennDOT and unrealistic income projections, according to a financial review recently completed by Auditor General Eugene DePasquale.

“The turnpike is relying on unrealistic revenue growth projections that should be setting off alarms now and in the near future,” DePasquale said.
