The highest paid general counsel among Pennsylvania’s public companies took a collective cut in pay in 2016, with increased compression among the top ranks when it comes to total cash compensation.
Total cash compensation for 2015, which comprises salary, bonus and nonequity incentive plan compensation, dropped 8.6 percent from 2014 payouts to an average of $704,000. That was thanks in large part to a 3-percent reduction in salaries and many fewer bonuses being doled out.
