Ballard Spahr has rehired a data privacy and intellectual property attorney from the University of Pennsylvania, where she spent two years working in data privacy issues related to HIPAA compliance.

Corinne A. Militello rejoined the firm as counsel in Philadelphia, chairman Mark Stewart announced Monday, after serving as an assistant privacy officer for Penn Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania for two years. Militello said she wanted to rejoin Ballard because it gave her the opportunity to combine her abilities in intellectual property and data security.
