• On Sept. 26, the Support Center for Child Advocates is set to host its 11th annual Child Advocates Golf Classic at the Philadelphia Cricket Club, 6025 W. Valley Green Road, Flourtown. All proceeds for the event support Child Advocates Project for Medically Needy Children. Registration will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the golfer luncheon at 11 a.m. and shotgun start/shamble format at noon.
