Performance-Based Budgeting
The Senate passed legislation, SB 1341, sponsored by Sen. Bob Mensch, R-Berks, which would require departments and agencies to justify their budget requests for all existing, as well as proposed programs, for each fiscal year—performance-based budgeting.
