In re Scott, PICS Case No. 16-1192 (Pa. Aug. 17, 2016) per curiam (15 pages).

Court-assigned attorney failed to follow through both on his request to be relieved of cases and in his representation of two individuals in an appeal and PCRA relief. The Disciplinary Board found the attorney in violation of several Rules of Professional Conduct related to failure to communicate and act with reasonable diligence/promptness regarding his clients and failure to respond to a position request by the Disciplinary Board. Failure to respond to answer the DB-7 letter was taken as an admission of the facts as stated, and the board determined that a suspension of six months was appropriate.
