A federal judge rejected a pharmaceutical testing company’s request to block a former employee from taking a new job because there’s no evidence she shared trade secrets with her new employer, or that the company is a competitor.

U.S. District Senior Judge Thomas N. O’Neill Jr. of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania denied plaintiff Almac Clinical Services’ request for a preliminary injunction blocking Dr. Aeri Park from working at Triclinic Labs. The injunction request came out of Almac’s breach of contract and misappropriation of trade secrets suit filed against Park.
