An attorney facing a $1.75 million judgment after a jury determined he lodged a frivolous lawsuit against a former Cozen O’Connor attorney is seeking to have the verdict reversed and the trial judge recused from the case.
Drexel Hill attorney Mark S. Halpern filed post-trial motions on Monday asking the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas to either toss the verdict or grant a new trial, which resulted in a $2.3 million award against him and his former client.
