Pointing to a deceased defense lawyer and their client’s blindness, attorneys for Bill Cosby argued Wednesday that the charges against him were brought too late and should be dropped.

In a second day of pretrial motions hearings, lawyers for Cosby argued the criminal charges against him should be dismissed because the comedian was deprived of his due process rights. The motion to dismiss argued Cosby was subject to prejudice, bias and delay because the charges were filed nearly 12 years after the alleged sexual assault of Andrea Constand.
