A woman working at a Center City law firm may move forward with a lawsuit over injuries suffered when an elevator she was in came to a sudden stop after a federal judge rejected the defendants’ bid for summary judgment.

U.S. District Judge Jeffrey L. Schmehl of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania denied motions for summary judgment from the defendants, Otis Elevator Co. and the owner and property manager of 1818 Market St.
