Justices Reject Use of King's Bench in Phila. Soft Drink Tax Challenge

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has decided against using its King’s Bench power to take up a challenge to Philadelphia’s sweetened beverage tax by a group of retailers and distributors.

The tax is set to take effect next year.
