A Florida judge has allowed a Chartwell Law Offices’ multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Wadsworth Huott over the firms’ failed combination to go forward.

Circuit Court Judge Norma S. Lindsey denied Wadsworth Huott’s motion to dismiss the complaint, in a Nov. 3 order, giving the firm and partner Christopher Wadsworth 20 days to answer to the suit. Partner Brian Huott’s motion to dismiss was also denied, and he was given 10 days to answer.
