Have there been any recent changes to the Rules of Professional Conduct?
The Rules of Professional Conduct are constantly being reviewed by the Disciplinary Board Rules Committee and the Office of Disciplinary Counsel. Further, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Allegheny Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association have legal ethics committees. Presumably, the other bar associations do too. Periodically, they make suggestions to the Disciplinary Board for changes.
