After 13 years of disbarment, an attorney who repaid those he injured prior to serving his criminal sentence for theft sought reinstatement in order to better continue serving others with addiction problems. He was found to have taken his addiction and rehabilitation seriously, and began working in counseling while waiting on the resolution of his case. With a steadfast and dedicated support group and testimony that indicated genuine remorse, commitment, and no sign of relapse, he was also found to be an asset to the profession and with sufficient learning and currency to further his goals as an asset to the community as well.
