John Colvin Wright Jr., 76, of Gladwyne died Oct. 17 at his home of Parkinson’s disease, which he had battled for many years. He was a longtime labor and employment partner with Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads, where he represented a number of high-profile labor clients.

He attended Princeton University and later went on to study law at the University of Pennsylvania. He clerked for an Oregon Supreme Court justice and taught law at the University of Oregon before returning to Philadelphia to work with Montgomery McCracken.
