The widow of a man who drowned during the Philadelphia Triathlon will not be able to proceed with her lawsuit against the event organizers, a split en banc panel of the Pennsylvania Superior Court ruled Nov. 15 in Valentino v. Philadelphia Triathlon.
The majority affirmed a trial court’s decision to grant summary judgment for the defendants.
