A partner at Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel in the business and finance department, Sanchez began a four-year term in the role of Montgomery County Controller in January 2016 after a resounding victory in her first bid for public office. Not only are there very few females holding elected positions in Pennsylvania, it is even more rare to have a female elected to the male-dominated fiscal position of county controller.
