Kathleen Kane, Pennsylvania’s former attorney general, has officially appealed her criminal sentence.
Kane filed a notice of appeal Tuesday afternoon in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. She was convicted of perjury and related charges in August, and in October she was sentenced to 10 to 23 months in jail and eight years of probation. She was released on bail, set at $75,000 cash, pending appeal.
