The Pennsylvania Superior Court has been busy over the past 12 months, and there are no signs that things will slow down in 2017.
Among this past year’s highlights: the court tossed numerous criminal charges against former Penn State officials over their alleged mishandling of information regarding sex abuse by convicted serial child molester Jerry Sandusky, overturned a $1 million sanction against a Philadelphia-area attorney for an improper comment her expert made on the stand, and saw three interim judges appointed to its bench.
