Central Pennsylvania isn’t exactly the Silicon Valley of the East. But a group of Harrisburg lawyers has left Rhoads & Sinon with a mission to bring some startup style to their newly formed law firm.
Kate Deringer Sallie, one of Pillar + Aught’s nine founding partners, acknowledged that their break from the traditional law firm structure is “a little bit of a social experiment.” But for clients, she said, the change is welcome—and overdue.
