Amid the uproar over New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s proposed merger of Rutgers University-Camden with Rowan University, another plan is on the table that would blend the Rutgers law schools in Camden, N.J., and Newark, N.J., into one entity.
For more than two years, members of a committee at the law schools have been quietly talking about retaining separate campuses but obtaining joint American Bar Association accreditation, instead of separately as is now done, and merging some services.
