The Pennsylvania Superior Court has for the second time tossed out a $27.6 million verdict awarded to a woman and her husband who said she was injured while taking part in a promotional video for an artificial knee implant.

After a three-judge panel of the court ruled 2-1 in March to overturn the verdict in Polett v. Public Communications, an en banc panel, split 7-2, reached the same result in a Dec. 20 opinion.
