The state Supreme Court has denied a request for it to reconsider its landmark ruling striking down a measure requiring local governments to enact uniform zoning for oil and gas exploration.
In a divided per curiam order issued today, the high court denied the state government’s application for reargument of the case, which stripped out a key provision of the Oil and Gas Act as unconstitutional.
