Another intellectual property boutique is packing its bags for large-firm digs. Richard P. Gilly and Richard C. Weinblatt of R.P. Gilly Intellectual Property Law Offices will fold the two-attorney practice to join Wolf Block Schorr & Solis-Cohen’s IP group.
R.P. Gilly is at least the third Philadelphia-based IP boutique in recent years to be absorbed into a full-service firm. In 1999, 28-attorney Panitch Schwarze Jacobs & Nadel became part of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. And last year, Seidel Gonda Lavorgna & Monaco added its 16 lawyers to Drinker Biddle & Reath.
