Already the subject of a grand jury investigation in Los Angeles, New York-based Milberg Weiss is also facing scrutiny over its relationship with Philadelphia City Controller Jonathan Saidel.

Federal prosecutors are looking into whether Saidel received consulting fees from two law firms — Milberg Weiss and Silverman Bernheim — in exchange for helping the firms win city contracts.
