Anne and Tom have been slugging it out in an arbitration proceeding arising out of Anne’s claim that Tom plundered their closely held corporation.

Whenever Anne asks her lawyer about the dates for the multiday arbitration hearing, she gets the same answer: “We just can’t seem to find dates that are good for everyone – the parties, the witnesses and the arbitrator. But we are getting closer to firm hearing dates.”
